Judge Laura Polizzi has dedicated her legal career to championing rights for all, serving as a steadfast advocate for justice, equality, and fairness. Prior to being a Judge, she managed her own firm where she assisted clients during some of their most difficult moments. She has used her experience to ensure fairness and protection under the law.
As a sitting Judge of 52-3 District Court, Judge Polizzi has demonstrated her commitment to improving the judicial system by creating the first Veterans Treatment Court in our district. This initiative reflects her dedication to addressing the unique needs of our community and veterans by enhancing the effectiveness of the court system.
In her own words.
As your current Judge, I am working hard every day to positively impact the lives of people in our community. I believe that integrity, compassion, and empathy help our community, and ensures that all individuals have an equal opportunity to overcome whatever obstacles brought them to Court.
I am very proud to have established the first Veterans Treatment Court in the 52-3 District Court. This program allows veterans access to resources and treatment, and provides veterans with an opportunity to set aside convictions that would otherwise negatively impact their lives.
I am honored to serve my community that I call home. I am looking forward to keeping my seat in the District Court so that I can continue to make a positive impact in our community.
